It was Oscar's turn to steward the exhibition today so I drove him to Shrewsbury after his morning walkies and made sure that he was looking festive for the occassion! He hadn't slept much the night before as the excitement of meeting new friends and visiting somewhere new was too much to bear! Making his bed in the corner of the gallery, he decided that a walk around the exhibits to give his opinion was his first duty. Fixing on a portrait of himself he asked if he could have a selfie and then a quick sniff round the block before nap time.

"Make sure you get my best side!"
We were also very lucky to have a visit from one of the Victorian Carol singers that were holding a carol service around the corner! Very dapper he was too!
We did joke that if he had too much of the mulled wine we offered that he would be 'Away in a Manger' by lunch time!

He must be a lucky charm, as it was shortly after he had come back from his ablutions that we had our first sale of the day!
Quickly followed by more visitors and card sales! Hoorah!
Sadly for anyone that visited after 11am you would have been hard pushed to find Oscar, or even know he was there at all!
Manchester Terriers are not known for their ability to retain heat and so with a fleecy coat, a festive flashing light jumper, and two huge fluffy blankets he buried himself for the rest of the day only to reappear when he wanted to go home!

Shrewsbury is a great place to visit at this time of year, and little treasures like the Bear Steps are lovely surprises to happen upon! We would love to welcome as many visitors as we can while we are there. We close our doors at 4pm on the 23rd December and then panic buy festive food and presents for our families. Art makes the perfect gift, especially for those that have everything! So with that in mind we are calling upon all last minute buyers of gifts (predominantly we guess, the male of the species) to come and see us before it's too late!

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER OUR PRIZE DRAW TO WIN 'BIG COCK'!

We are three artists and more importantly friends that share a love of art, wine and cake!  Gathering for weekly art making sessions over the last 10 years, and even when one of us moved counties, we are bound together through a common thread whose tapestry of life, laughter and art come together in our first exhibition!
