The musings of three artists on their joint venture into the world of Print Pastel and Paint
![]() We are three artists and more importantly, friends that have shared many laughs, outings, drunken nights and cultural visits in each others company. We began painting together after attending a local artists workshops, and decided that after the 6 week course it would be a shame to put all that new found knowledge to waste. Ten years later and countless Wednesdays gathered around the kitchen table, fuelled by wine and cake we are ready to meet our public! And for you to meet us and see what a mutual love of art and wine can do for you! We are all passionate about art, and the making of, and eat, sleep and dream about the next painting, print or pastel piece. We are so excited to be holding our very first (and certainly not the last) exhibition and art sale in Shrewsbury, at the lovely Bear Steps Gallery. Shrewsbury is Karen's home town and she works from her studio at home making use of her printing press. Specialising in lino cuts, her graphic birds are a delight and look best when bought as a set of four. Jenny is our monoprinter and also does some wonderfully sensitive figurative work in acrylics....and then there is me, Alison! The hyper active animal artist! Based in Cheshire my work reflects the rural life and I love to experiment with acrylics and oils fused with my passion of colour! Do come and meet us in our three week visit to Shrewsbury. We are dying to meet you and share our stash of mince pies and mulled wine! We have cards, affordable prints and originals which would make the perfect gift for Christmas! We are also happy to talk about commissions and will have gift vouchers for those that would prefer to give the gift of art and allow the benefactor to choose their subject. So come on down! We are opening the doors for a Preview on the 10th December! look forward to meeting you :) x If you have enjoyed reading our blog and would like to know when we have news to impart on workshops etc please sign up for our newsletter. Be reassured that we don't send spam! Too busy painting! :D

It is a famous quote and that quote talks about the value of planning. Planning is important so that there will be a direction that will lead to a goal that we want to achieve. We should change our circle and always be positive so that we may come up with a beautiful plan. A plan that will save us from danger and that is true. We should believe in that for in the end there will be great things that will happen.

Gathering for weekly art making sessions over the last 10 years, and even when one of us moved counties, we are bound together through a common thread whose tapestry of life, laughter and art come together in our first exhibition!
