A BIRD IN THE HAND....

Is worth a pretty one in a bush?
We said au revoir to 'Majestic' the Pheasant today as is winged it's way off to it's forever home. Much admired by many of the visitors to the gallery it was one of my personal favourites and I really enjoyed painting it. We still have a limited edition print version available and it also has a ready made frame if anyone would rather we framed it for them.
Karen was rushed off her feet today and had dispensed the entire 3 litre flask of mulled wine by 11am so Shrewsbury really was full of Christmas cheer today! 
Roll on another day of meeting the lovely visitors to the gallery and sharing a tale or two over  festive refreshments.

As Karen discovered today, one of the drawbacks of drinking mulled wine whilst writing Christmas cards is that the occasional spillage can occur! Oops! Quick blast under the ever so efficient blow heater would do the trick!
